Itinerary

Cape Town Arrive at any time. Tonight, get to know your group on your first night out together in Cape Town. After a brief welcome meeting or dinner out together head to the clubs on Long Street to explore the vibrant nightlife. Put those dancing shoes on and get to know your fellow travel buddies as the adventure begins.
Cape Town/Cederberg View dramatic Western Cape scenery, visit the G Adventures supported !Khwa ttu San Culture and Education Centre, camp on a farm, and opt to sip on local wine.
Cederberg/Orange River Travel past large plantations of rooibos tea. Opt to take a canoe trip on the scenic Orange River.
Orange River/Fish River Canyon Cross the border into Namibia, and enjoy the sunset at the Fish River Canyon.
Fish River Canyon/Namib Desert Explore the natural wonders of this bizarre desert environment.
Namib Desert Explore the Sesriem Canyon, a small canyon typical of the area. Then opt to continue on to the breathtaking Sossusvlei Dunes, and climb the breathtaking Dune 45.
Namib Desert/Swakopmund Cross the void region of the Namib Desert along with a few dry mountain passes to the adrenaline capital of Swakopmund.

Swakopmund is one of the adventure capitals of Africa. Enjoy a free day to relax or get the adrenaline pumping. Choose from sky diving, or dune boarding, just to name a few options.

Spitzkoppe/Etosha National Park Enter Etosha National Park and enjoy a short safari drive in the Lando as you drive towards our camp.
Etosha National Park Enjoy a full-day wildlife safari drive in the Lando. Opt to take an open vehicle safari drive in the afternoon/night.
Etosha National Park/Waterberg Plateau Head south from Etosha to the Waterberg Plateau. Spend the afternoon hiking the trails of the national park, or relaxing by the pool.
Waterberg Plateau/Windhoek Transfer to Windhoek and visit the G Adventures supported Penduka Village Restaurant & Shop for an included lunch.
Windhoek/D'kar Spend the night at the G Adventures supported Dqae Qare San Lodge & Camp, and meet the local San Bushmen. Optional walk to learn survival skills from the locals.
D'kar/Maun Opt to take a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta to get a birds-eye view of the area.
Maun/Okavango Delta Enjoy wildlife walks, a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) and birding on an overnight excursion into the Okavango Delta.
Okavango Delta/Gweta Camp under ancient baobab trees.
Gweta/Kasane Opt to embark on a wildlife-viewing boat cruise on the Chobe River or take an open safari vehicle wildlife safari drive inside Chobe National Park.

Lusaka/South Luangwa Continue travelling across the Zambian countryside, to our camp on the banks of the Luangwa River.
South Luangwa Enjoy a free day to explore South Luangwa NP, a wildlife haven. Opt to go on a walking safari (seasonal), night drive, or visit a nearby local village.
South Luangwa/Chipata Opt for a morning walking safari (seasonal), or drive, before heading to the G Adventures-supported Tribal Textiles Market & Courtyard Cafe, for lunch and a visit of the craft workshop.
Chipata/Kande Beach Cross the border and travel to the "Lake of Stars," Lake Malawi.
Kande Beach Relax on the shores of Lake Malawi, and enjoy a traditional dinner in a local home. Opt to explore by foot, go snorkelling, or take a village tour.
Kande Beach/Chitimba Set off and drive to the northern part of Lake Malawi.
Chitimba Enjoy a final day at Lake Malawi.
Chitimba/Iringa Cross the border into Tanzania and take in views of vast tea plantations and highlands along the way.
Iringa/Dar es Salaam Watch the Tanzanian countryside pass by on the journey to the Indian Ocean.
Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar Beach Resort Hop on a ferry to Zanzibar and transfer to the picturesque island beaches.
Zanzibar Beach Resort Opt to go diving, snorkelling, take a sailing trip, or just sit back and relax.
Stone Town Travel back to Stone Town for a final night on this enchanting island. Along the way, enjoy a guided tour of a local spice plantation.
Stone Town/Bagamoyo Ferry back over to the mainland and drive north to the historic coastal town of Bagamoyo.
Bagamoyo/Arusha Hit the road for a long day of driving. Enjoy the varied landscapes on the way to Arusha. Keep on the look out for views of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain.
Arusha/Serengeti National Park Set off into the Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon wildlife safari drive en route to the campsite.
Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Enjoy a wildlife safari drive in the Serengeti during the day, and finish the evening camping at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Ngorongoro/Arusha Venture down to the crater floor and take in a final safari experience, viewing the high concentration of wildlife bound by the crater walls.
Arusha/Nairobi Transfer to Kenya's capital city.
Nairobi Enjoy a free day in Nairobi to explore, or relax, before heading off to Uganda.
Nairobi/Masai Mara Journey through the Great Rift Valley on the way to one of the most famous national parks in Africa. Enjoy a late afternoon wildlife safari drive in the hopes of spotting the "big five".
Masai Mara Enjoy an early morning wildlife safari drive. The day continues with more wildlife viewing, as you cross the plains and rivers of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru National Park Depart for Nakuru, with a stop for lunch at the G Adventures supported Ubuntu Cafe. Embark on a safari within Lake Nakuru National Park (in the Lando), in search of the resident black rhino, buffalo, impala, and the elusive leopard.
Lake Nakuru National Park/Eldoret Enjoy another safari drive in the Lando, before heading off to Eldoret.
Eldoret/Kampala Cross the border into Uganda, then camp outside of the country's capital.
Kampala/Lake Bunyonyi Get comfortable, as we cross the equator and head off to Lake Bunyonyi.
Gorilla Trek Enjoy a guided mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Lake Bunyonyi Enjoy free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lake Bunyonyi.
Lake Bunyonyi/Kalinzu Forest Reserve Watch the Ugandan countryside pass by on the day's journey.
Kalinzu Forest Reserve/Lake Mburo National Park Get up early for an included chimpanzee tracking excursion, then visit a tea plantation before setting off for Lake Mburo. Opt for an afternoon boat cruise on the lake, or explore the local area on foot.
Lake Mburo National Park/Jinja Head back across the equator and enjoy a meal at the G Adventures supported AidChild Equation Cafe. Continue on to Jinja, Uganda's adventure capital.
Jinja Explore Jinja, known for its outdoor and adventure activities. Opt to raft down the White Nile River, mountain bike up and down the hills or check out the local market.
Jinja/Eldoret Cross over into Kenya for a night in Eldoret.
Eldoret/Nairobi Transfer to Nairobi, where the tour ends upon arrival late afternoon.
