Table Mountain, which is home to the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth, was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2011. Flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Table Mountain makes up the northern end of the Cape Fold Mountain range. It’s hard to imagine, but the mountain’s distinctive flat top – a three-kilometre level plateau – was once the bottom of a valley! The mountain was given its name — Taboa do Cabo (Table of the Cape) — by Antonio de Saldahna after he climbed up Platteklip Gorge in 1503.3. Wine TourDepending on whether you prefer red or white wine, with bubbles or without, we will design a tour that meets your needs. From bold Shiraz, to mellow Merlots and perfect Pinots. We also offer tastings of the unique South African cultivar The Pinotage. The Pinotage is a red wine grape that is South Africa's signature variety. It was bred here in 1925 as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut grape and the signature Pinotage vintages are prolific in the Stellenbosch area.4.Cape of Good HopeMade famous by Vasco de Gama who was the first to map this iconic spot on the world map, yet it was Bartholomew Dias that arrived t/here first. Also known as El cabo de Esperanza - *Cape of Good Hope and Cape of Storms, because of the rough seas that has caused over 60 ships to be wrecked along this coast. The tour departs from the City of Cape, a breath taking drive along the coast via the scenic Chapman’s Peak drive.5.
