Dangers & Annoyances

Beware the competitive ferociousness of the informal car-park attendants waving cars into parks on the side of the road. Tell them firmly that you do not want your car washed, or they may do so without asking and present you with a sign specifying an extortionate fee, such as R80, for the service.

For ATMs, go to Graskop, 15km southeast.
