A 600-sq-km (or 60,000 hectare) private wildlife reserve in the greater Kruger area, Klaserie has strong conservation credentials. It's one of the more northerly (and quieter) of the private reserves along Kruger's western boundary, and has all the usual reasons to come, especially luxury accommodation and excellent wildlife viewing. It's not quite Sabi Sand when it comes to leopards, but it's still excellent, especially along the Klaserie and Olifants Rivers.
