You will be collected in Durban or the airport and transported north to the wild area of Zululand. Your guide will point out interesting sights along the way as you drive through the beautiful countryside. On arrival at Hluhluwe town you will visit the Cheetah Rehabilitation Center. Here you will get to interact and learn about these amazing cats and their conservation struggles in Africa. Also see and interact with other wild cats such as serval, caracal and African wild cats. After this once and a lifetime experience make your way across to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve for your Big 5 safari! You will spend the next 2 days driving around the reserve on game drives searching for animals, birds and general wildlife, with your highly experienced wildlife guide on hand to unlock the wonders of nature! Enjoy comfortable and unique accommodation in the Park camps, with meals under the stars at night and hot brunches in the bush in the morning. Durban Safari Tour - 3 day package

Day 1 1. After your guide collects you from your Durban Hotel/B&B or Guest house he will take you on a educational 2.5 – 3 hours drive to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game reserve – The oldest game reserve in Africa established in 1895. Your guide will cover points of interest like the History of Durban, KwaZulu Natal and South Africa and the different population groups as well as how the came to be in South Africa. 2. Before we get to the game reserve we will stop for 1 hour at a Cat rehabilitation center outside Hluhluwe. This is an amazing place where they are trying to get these endangered wild Cats back to the wild. Their are 4 Species of Cat the Cheetah, Serval, Caracal and African wild cat. 3. We continue 20 minutes to reach Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game reserve. Upon entering, game viewing begins immediately and your guide will talk you through the different animal behavior you may encounter. Hluhluwe Umfolozi game reserve has the highest population of White Rhino in the World. 4. We will stop for lunch at Hilltop camp and Check in before deciding what time to go back out to look for animals. There is also an option of an evening open vehicle game drive from 5pm-8pm.(to your own account). This focuses on Nocturnal animals.5. Once we are back Dinner will be at the Hilltop camp restaurant, a traditional buffet will be laid out. This will add to your bush experience especially if the lodge is busy as the staff get up and sing and dance in a traditional Zulu way.Day 21. After enjoying a buffet breakfast (or going out first), we head out for a game drive. The above itinerary can be changed depending on what you may or may not have seen.2. The open vehicle game drive is an option that can be taken at 5pm – 8pm at night where the guide will use a spotlight to find animals after dusk. This gives you more chance for finding the Cats as the Lion and Leopard are Nocturnal. 4. Dinner is at the Hilltop camp restaurant, a hot and cold buffet with a variety of traditional African and international dishes. There is also a lovely bar at the restaurant which you can have a drink at chatting about the days adventures. Amarula cream on crushed ice is one you have to try!Day 31. A final buffet breakfast is followed by a game drive with your safari guide. This is a final chance to find what we have not or a chance to recap on what we have seen. We will then make our way out of Hluhluwe Umfolozi game reserve and onto the St Lucia Estuary-Isimangeliso Wetland park, for a boat cruise along the Estuary.2.
