Hiking here is a magical experience. There are four trails at the Blyde Canyon Forever Resort, which nonguests pay R50 to walk. The short Kadishi-Tufa Trail (one hour) runs along the Kadishi River, a tributary of the Blyde, to a tufa waterfall; the Guinea-Fowl Trail (three hours) offers beautiful views before descending to the Kadishi; the Lourie Trail (three hours) explores indigenous riparian forest and criss-crosses the river; and the Leopard Trail (four hours) offers spectacular Blyde River Canyon views.
