Hello Everyone

My family and I are book to travel to Cape town in September! we leave September 9th to October 1st. We are travelling with our 2 yr old daughter. We are looking for some information on what are "must see's" and also with the water restrictions if it is making travel there more difficult. We are looking into renting our own vehicle but would like to know how is it driving yourself or if its best to hire a driver. We are looking into booking Sabi-Sands for our Safari and also…

Look this way if you want to do the gorilla trekking in Bwindi and see some tree-climbing lions, Queen Elizabeth National Park, in Uganda next weekend (5 days, Thursday-Monday).

Hi all,

We are two guys that plan to visit Uganda in the end of next week. This is a rather expensive activity so if we could find some more people to join, the prices on safari and transport would be reduced remarkably. We are still planning, so if you would be interested: feel free to come up with ideas and input.

Hi Everyone

Myself a friend are doing a tour in Madagascar from Tana to Ifaty and fly back to Tana. I also want to do a trip to the Tsingy National park for a 2/3 days.

What other areas would people recommend as a ‘must see’ in Madagascar. We are in the planning stage at the moment and have at least a week extra before/after the tour.

Thanks
Denise

Thursday: Arrive Tozeur at 15:25. Spend the night in Tozeur.
Friday: Mides, Tamerza, Chebika (is this too busy for 1 day?)
Saturday: [open] Chott El Jerid and Douz? Tamezret or Matmata? (too far?)
Sunday: [open] Depart Tozeur at 16:00

I'm interested to explore natural wonders (the Oases, the dessert) and traditional Tunisian activities/places. I am not interested in visiting the Star Wars…

My Morocco travels usually go without a hitch, but yesterday on the train between Tangier and Fes fate dealt me a bum card from the bottom of the deck.

As usual I was travelling in the comfortable first class coach but somehow I lurched into the second class to use the toilet, as I gained entry and slammed the door shut behind me I suddenly realised the interior door handle was missing and only the square spindle was protruding, in desperation I searched around the floor but it had vanished…

A word of warning for those going to Taghazout - the water quality is very bad at the moment. We were there 2 weeks ago with our 9 & 12 year old children. After an hour in the sea in the village my husband and son got vomiting & diarrhoea the next day. We thought it was food poisoning but after a morning body boarding on the main beach myself and my daughter succumbed. Basically our whole stay left us ill.
Friends were there with their children earlier in the week. They spent a long time in the…
