We are thinking about a mult-icity trip to Morocco next April. WE have found a few 3 or 4 day trips from Marrakesh which go to the Atlas Mountains, gorges and overnight in desert. Any suggestions as to tours? We do not want a guided tour for the whole country but plan on going to each city for a few days and perhaps have day excursions. Thanks.

We would like to take the train from Cairo to Luxor. It sounds like there are two possibilities; the Watania sleeping train or the morning train with Egyptian Railways. The night train sounds convenient, but we'd prefer to see the scenery, which has been described as very nice. Although the guidebook describes an 8 a.m. departure, we have been unable to find that train on the Egyptian Railways website. Anyone know whether it's available to tourists, and if so, whether that's a good choice…

Hello,

Do any of you wonderful people know whether the historic MV Liemba ferry is working at the moment?
We are trying to reach Lagosa and then the Mahale Mountains without completely breaking the bank, but have seen on other traveling forums that it may not be running.
Emailing the addresses I've found here and there hasn't worked, no replies and a bounce back, same for a phone number for a guide someone used previously.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

We will be entering Malawi from Tanzania in September and can apply for a Malawi visa before we leave home but we have been advised that we are only able to get a single entry tourist visa on arrival in Tanzania. My question is can we get a second Tanzanian visa on leaving Malawi and re-entering Tanzania at a land border?

I don't need visa to visit either Zimbabwe or Zambia.

Do I still need to apply for the Kaza Univisa when I cross from Zimbabwe to Zambia or I can just walk across with just my passport?

Bus booking online

I will be travelling South Africa around from one city to another by buses.

From my checking, these websites provide a collective information all the buses travelling in each route:

https://www.busticket.co.za/en_za/
https://www.computickettravel.com/ctktravel/busses/busses/departure

Are these the reliable websites to check?

I will be travelling in September & October. Is that peak season? Do I need to book my bus tickets in advance or is it still possible to book when I'm there in each of…

I plan to travel from Phalaborwa to Masvingo in Zimbabwe by public bus.

From my checking, I need take a bus from Phalaborwa to Polokwane (Pietersburg) before I can take a connecting bus to Masvingo. Is that correct? Is there any other better way to do it?

If I do according to my plan, is there a luggage storage at Polokwane bus station as I got almost a whole day there before I can catch the connecting bus to Masvingo.

While in Polokwane, I plan to visit Bakone Malapa Northern Sotho Open Air…
