I am interested in going to Malaita Island for a few days from Honiara. Would like to know the ferry schedule or a site that would show it. Also need advice on what to see/do, and lodging.
We are stopping off at Gizo Island for a day as part of a cruise in October. Does anyone know if there is good snorkelling close to the port or do we have to book tours? Is snorkelling good at Gizo?

does anyone know of a public boat going between Munda and Seghe?
I can find the connections from Honiara to Gizo, stopping in Seghe but not in Munda it seems? And of course there is the boat between Gizo and Munda. But is there really no interconnection between Munda and Seghe by boat??
If not by public boat, does anyone have an idea how much we would have to pay for a charter and which guesthouse in Munda could organize it?
