Bled is well connected by bus; the bus station is a hub of activity at the lake's northeast. Alpetour runs most of the bus connections in the Julian Alps region, so check its website for schedules.

Bled has two train stations, though neither one is close to the town centre:

Lesce-Bled station Four kilometres east of Bled township on the road to Radovljica. It's on the rail line linking Ljubljana with Jesenice and Austria. Trains to/from Ljubljana (€5.20 to €7, 40 minutes to one hour, 51km, up to 20 daily) travel via Škofja Loka, Kranj and Radovljica. Buses connect the station with Bled.

Bled Jezero station On Kolodvorska cesta northwest of the lake. Trains to Bohinjska Bistrica (€1.85, 20 minutes, 18km, seven daily), from where you can catch a bus to Lake Bohinj, use this smaller station. You can travel on this line further south to Most na Soči and Nova Gorica.
