Water Springs Day Tour from Bled or Ljubljana

Depart from your Bled hotel (9 am) or Ljubljana central meeting point - statue at the top of Kongresni Trg - Congress square (9:45am) for an 8-hour excursion to Alpine water springs. Passing Kranj towards the start of the tour at Jezersko in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Soak in the panoramic views along scenic road as you drive into Logar Valley. Stop along the way for couple of short hikes. Sip different mineral waters from fresh streams and take in the splendid mountain views. Dip in a local lake (optional) and take photos of Klemensek Farm, perched on top of the hill. There’s an option to partake in adventurous activities including paragliding, horseback riding, or archery.

Ljubljana countryside Cycling Tour

Starting from the medieval historical town of Kamnik, you will cycle all the way to the foot of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, where you will stop to view a magnificent Predoselj gorge and a spring of pure Kamniška Bistrica river. On the way we will stop for a lunch in one of the local restaurants where they will serve us with typical Slovenian food. Cycling is easy except for the last 6 kilometres part where you will need a basic fitness to reach the spring. We can offer you car-assistence in order to see all the sights. Afterwards you can opt for bathing at the Terme Snovik thermal spa or a visit to a shepherds' village on the Velika Planina mountain plateau.

Kamnik and Velika Planina Small-Group Tour

From Ljubljana there is a short drive to Kamnik, one of the loveliest and oldest towns in Slovenia which is surrounded by the beautiful Kamnik Alps. First, you will visit Velika Planina, mountain plateau with its green pastures and typical unique architecture of more than 50 shepherd’s huts. You will visit the Preskar hut museum, the only preserved example of a typical oval Velika planina hut in Slovenia. After descending from Velika Planina you will head on to visit the source of the Kamniska Bistrica River, one of Slovenia’s clearest rivers and the valley’s most mesmerizing natural sight: the gorges of Mali and Veliki Predaselj. Before heading back to Ljubljana, you’ll have a stroll through Kamnik’s medieval streets, which are hiding various cultural styles. Arrive back to Ljubljana in the late afternoon.
