Satay Street

Hawker in Chinatown & the CBD

Each night, Boon Tat St is blocked to traffic and transformed into a KL-style sea of outdoor tables, beer-peddling aunties and little satay huts dubbed Satay Street. Order a few rounds of satay (stalls 7 and 8 are the best), some gravy-sopping rice cakes, a jug of Tiger beer and feast on the cheap. You'll find it right behind the famous Lau Pa Sat hawker centre.
