Bar in Colonial District, the Quays & Marina Bay

While Kinki's restaurant is justifiably known for its sushi, it's the rooftop bar one floor up that takes the cake. Pimped with graffiti panels and video projections, its sweep takes in spectacular Marina Bay Sands. Music levels allow for conversation (though it does get packed later in the week) and, despite the knockout location, the vibe is rarely obnoxious.

If you're feeling peckish, fill up on Japanese nosh like temaki (sushi hand roll) bites, spiced miso meatballs and ebi (prawn) fries.
