You'll find hotels and hostels in Serbia's cities and most towns. Private rooms and apartments offer superb value and can be organised through tourist offices or by following signs reading sobe or apartmani. 'Wild' camping is possible outside national parks. In rural areas, look out for etno sela (traditional village accommodations); in Vojvodina, salaši (pastoral homesteads) and manor homes make for a memorable stay. Rural Tourism Serbia (www.selo.co.rs) can organise village sleepovers.
