This distinctive peak (927m), the most northerly of the Munros, looms like a rooster's crest over this part of Sutherland. Climbing it offers magnificent coastal views on a clear day. It’s a 4.5-mile, four-hour round-trip along the route from the car park, which is 8 miles inland from the coast road. It’s a relatively easy walk but often cold at the exposed top.
To reach the car park, turn off the coast road 9 miles west of Tongue; it's signposted to Dun Dornaigil broch.
