Bus

The Edinburgh/Glasgow to Dundee and Aberdeen route is served by Scottish Citylink (www.citylink.co.uk) and Megabus (https://uk.megabus.com) coaches. Stagecoach (www.stagecoachbus.com) is the main regional bus operator, with services linking all the main towns and cities.

Stagecoach offers a Moray Megarider ticket (£32) that gives seven days unlimited bus travel around Elgin as far as Findhorn, Dufftown and Fochabers, and an Aberdeen Zone 6 Megarider ticket (£47) that allows seven days unlimited travel on all its services in Aberdeenshire, as far as Montrose, Braemar and Huntly.

Train

The Edinburgh–Dundee–Inverness railway line passes through Arbroath, Montrose, Stonehaven, Aberdeen, Huntly and Elgin.
