Shetlanders have fine seafood but love their meat, so this friendly steakhouse was always going to be popular. Hidden away behind the tourist office, it offers uncomplicated steaks, ribs and burgers, served in sizeable portions with lots of garnishes. The dining area is atmospheric, with venerable, saggy floorboards and exposed walls; there's also a downstairs cafe (11.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday).
The kitchen might overcook your steak, so consider ordering it a grade less done. There are a few wines by the glass.
