Southside Apartments offer spacious self-catering apartments ideal for exploring the Old Town of Edinburgh. They are just 20 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh city centre, the Royal Mile and are also next to a good bus route. Apartments have a fully-equipped kitchen and lounge with double sofa bed and a dining area. Some have original period features such as high ceilings and sash windows. All Southside Apartments feature free WiFi and plasma TVs, with DVD players on request. The modern kitchens have an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. All include towels and linen and a a starter pack provided for your arrival to get you started. This includes soap, washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, rubbish bags, toilet rolls and small toiletries in the bathrooms. Holyrood Park is just 10 minutes’ walk from Southside Apartments and Edinburgh Castle can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes' walk.
A security deposit of GBP 100 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
Please note that this property does not have a reception. It is important that all guests contact the company prior to arrival to arrange a check-in time to avoid any delays in accessing the apartment. The meeting place for all apartments is 7 Newington Road, from which you will be shown into either number 7 or 11.
There are no lifts at the property and the apartments are spread over 4 levels. Please note that some apartments may not be suitable for those with limited mobility due to the multiple flights of stairs.
Upon arrival, guests can either pre-authorise a credit card for GBP 100 as a security deposit or pay a GBP 25 non-refundable fee. Full explanation of these options can be found in the confirmation email.
Upon checking into the property, the guest accepts responsibility for any damage to the property during their stay. The company reserves the right to charge above the pre-authorised fee amount to cover the cost of any damage caused by guests.
