Tour description

This eight hour tour will include a visit to Stirling Castle which was first mentioned around 1100. This Castle was fought over and changed hands frequently. We will then visit the famous site of The Battle of Banockburn, where Robert the Bruce and Edward II changed the path of Scotland forever. After Banockburn it's on to visit the world famous Wallace Monument which overlooks the scene of Scotland's victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. For 150 years this attraction has been the highlight of many visitors to Scotland. Depending on time we will also visit as much of Edinburgh as possible!

We will begin our journey by heading to the village of Crammond where we will visit the Roman Fort, before heading across the Queensferry Crossing. We will drive through the picturesque Scottish countryside before arriving at the site of the Battle of Banockburn. we will then head to the world famous Stirling Castle and for all you braveheart fans we will then head to the monument of William Wallace. For lunch we have a couple of options to stop at in the village of Stirling!  On the way home we will cross the Forth Road Bridge before also visiting some sites in Edinburgh before returning you to your Cruiseship or hotel.
