Railway-sleeper floors, cut-down-workbench tables and seats upholstered with old tweed jackets lend a utilitarian air to this excellent deli-cafe-restaurant where local produce is king. Breakfast (served till noon, 2pm on Sunday) includes free-range eggs Benedict, and avocado on sourdough toast, while the evening menu runs to fish and chips, mac and cheese, and burgers.
