Departing from your accommodation or other place of collection we head off to the Speyside area. This about a 1.5 hrs drive from Inverness through some beautiful countryside. On arrival in the Speyside area we can commence whisky tasting at Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, Cardhu, Macallan, Glenfiddich, Aberlour . There is also an interesting tour available at Speyside Cooperage which gets good reviews. On the return to Inverness you may consider a stop at Tomatin to sample the Whisky there. Benromach was first established in 1898 and has been through many closures and changes of ownership over the years. The current custodians are the Urquhart family (owners of Gordon & Macphail) who reopened the site in 1998. There are a number of different tours and/or tastings available ranging from 30 mins to 120 mins and priced from £6 to £125 per person.Duration: 1 hour 30 minutesStop At: Glen Moray Distillery, Elgin, Moray, ScotlandThe team at Glen Moray will take you through the process of creating our classic Speyside malt. After this, you can take a whilst to relax with a tasting flight and possibly sample some of their range of expressions. The cooper of speyside build and repair casks from all over the world without using any glue or nails. Cardhu is also home to the world-famous Johnnie Walker blend, and visitors to the distillery can experience both the history of the single malt, and the story of the renowned blend. Highland Fling Tour

Leaving Aberdeen we will follow the Highland Route to the heart of Scotland and the Cairngorm National Park. Aviemore is our first stop where you will have the opportunity to wander through the village and enjoy a coffee and tasty light bite and one of its many cafes and soak in the atmosphere of the highland community and the outdoor life. Optional visits can include the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre. After exploring Aviemore our next destination is the Funicular Railway up the Cairngorm Mountain to see the spectacular views from the top.Once back at the Base Station we will start making our way back through the highlands making our way through Carrbridge, Aberlour and Dufftown with stops to grab a coffee (or wee dram) and take scenic photos.This tour is weather dependent and may be subject to cancellation. We also reserve the right to deviate from the tour, with the groups consent, if the weather is inclement or deteriorates making the journey unsafe. We therefore cannot guarantee that the tour will be exactly as described.Entries are not included in the price of the tour.
