A friend and I are planning a trip through parts of Siberia for this coming August. We will have two weeks, including travel to/from Siberia (based in Dubai and London). The dream itinerary would probably be to work our way from Novosibirsk through Altai, Tuva, and the Sayan Mountains (maybe including Ergaki) to Baikal. I do not think we have time to get between AND properly enjoy these places, but we are struggling to decide what to drop based on the information we currently have.
I will be going to Russia in june where I will attend the France vs Australia game in Kazan on the 16/6 (I am a Frenchman living in Australia so I couldn't hope for a better game to watch), and since the Fan ID will allow me to travel visa free during the whole tournament duration I am planning to do a trip around Russia including the Trans Siberian railway which has been a dream of mine for so many years.
My Colombian girlfriend (who also lives in Australia) is also travelling for the World…
We have two nights booked in Pskov. I'm wandering about the options of watching birds. On the other side of the Lake Peipus, there's a big offer in ecotourism, but not in the Russian side.
Hi, how are you?
I am looking for a place to learn to ski/snowboard in Rusia/Ukraine/Georgia in May.
But I need to have a relatively good internet connection in my room, and if possible yoga classes and a swimming pool.
I’m looking for a place with beautiful nature to work with my laptop and enjoy the snow in my free time.
Hello everyone! We have bought our flights to Russia for a long weekend giving us 3 full days, Sat 25, Sun 26 and Mon 27 August. We arrive late Friday night and leave Tuesday afternoon. I’m going with my fiancé and my mom. Visas are not a problem. My mom has always been fascinated with Russian history and that should be the main focus for our trip. We want to stay in AirBnb so that we can make our own meals and have a shared chill area rather than separate hotel rooms. AirBnb prices look good…
Dear Thorn Tree community,
We are a team of experienced travelers building a platform that will finally bring all types of travel services together on the same site - I won't name it, because it may be against the community guidelines. Everything, from trekking to rooms, and it will be blockchain-based, and the connection between travelers and service providers will finally be direct, so the fees will be very low.
Here is the trick: in order to raise the funding we need from a couple of venture…
