Day 1: Bucharest – Sighisoara ( 287 km, 4h 27 min driving) 9am Welcome to Romania! Your English-speaking guide will collect you from Bucharest Airport or any hotel from Bucharest or Otopeni. Transfer to the Medieval Saxon Citadel of Sighisoara. Founded by Saxons during the 12th century.Sighisoara is also the place where Vlad the Impaler, the Romanian ruler also know as Dracula was born. 8pm: Next, get ready for the Halloween party: a delicious traditional Romanian festive dinner washed down with fiery spirits, excellent Romanian wine. During dinner, watch a special program including the Ritual of Killing of the Living Dead, Vampiresa Hunting, Black Witch of the Woods, and many dark surprises. Spend the evening in a 3-star hotel located in the very heart of the medieval citadel.Day 2: Sighisoara – Sibiu – Brasov (237 km, 4h driving). Enjoy medieval charm at its best, visit Sighisoara's main tourist attractions: The Clock Tower, standing 60 meters tall on top of the citadel's hill, it hostst a museum and offers a great view over the citadel. Morning drive to Sibiu. The fortified town of Sibiu has been the centre of Romania’s German minority since medieval times and it is one of Romania’s most beautiful cities. The city contains the largest concentrations of famous sites in Romania.Travel next to the Medieval Saxon city of Brasov, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe, home to the impressive Black Church, the largest Gothic edifice in South Eastern Europe.Day 3: Brasov – Bran - Bucharest (171 km, 2h 55 min driving). Explore today Transylvania’s symbol, Bran Castle. It owes its fame both to its unique charm and to the myth Bram Stoker created around Dracula. Transfer to Bucharest Airport/your booked hotel.
