Off-the-grid, minimalist and austere, this unique guesthouse consists of four industrial concrete blocks that arise out of the surrounding trees like huge granite boulders (or fittingly, abandoned navy bunkers). The 13 luxurious rooms are completely open on two sides, most with outdoor showers, giving you the feeling that you are actually living in the forest. Designed by cutting-edge Canadian architect John Hix.
Amenities include fully stocked kitchens so you can rustle up a healthy breakfast, a pool and outdoor yoga studio and sweeping views. Wi-fi in the lobby only.
