Currently traveling, writing about, and photographing the world.
My life in 3 lines:
I spent my childhood on the sunny beaches of Sydney Australia, and my teenage days in a two street town called Little Hartley, out past the Blue Mountains. While it was (and still is) a beautiful place, it’s an isolated town on a giant isolated Island, and left me yearning for something a little different. So I decided to buy a backpack, pick a starting point, and start traveling.
Crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s:
I like traveling, and documenting it with stories and photos (can you tell?).
I don’t like Chinese food.
I have three dogs back home: Assassin, Bane, and Maximilian Broccoli Dog (Maxb for short, also nicknamed Houdini Reincarnated).
When I was young I had plans to build a free energy machine, make a flying car, and stage a hostile takeover of the United States, among other things.
I’ve scaled glaciers with ice picks in New Zealand, Abseiled down waterfalls in Vanuatu, skydived onto the beach, fallen down the highest rafted waterfall in the southern hemisphere (with my raft next to me), dived with sharks, spent 3 days stranded on a yaht on a deserted Island in Bass Strait, and crossed main roads in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
I started The Aspiring Nomad ([Link Removed] as a simple idea, have a blog to keep in touch, but it quickly grew into something huge. One of the biggest motivations for starting the blog was not only documenting my travels, but keeping in touch with other travelers, hence why I’ve come to this forum. I hope to hear from many of you soon!
