The viewpoint from the top of Sto. Antonio, from where you can see the city of Peso da Régua and Serra do Marão, is one of the noteworthy spots on this tour. Keeping the Douro on the horizon, we are easily overwhelmed with such a vastness of terraced vineyards. And it is close to the Douro that we can find the most beautiful railway station of the region. Built in the 19th Century, Pinhão railway station displays, on 24 tile panels, the different phases of Port wine production. One of the proposals of this itinerary is the olive oil proof, because not only good wines come from the fertile land of the Douro. Olive oil has a unique flavor and several health benefits, and is therefore essential in the regions gastronomy.
We leave from Porto towards the Douro. On the way we stopped to admire one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Douro. After that, we will visit a grapes farm with the delicious wine and olive oil from the region. You can enjoy a fantastic lunch in the farm or luxury restaurant. Next we have a fantastic tour in traditional boat Rabelo. We will visit a new grapes farm to see the whole traditional process of manufacturing the best wines in the world. and to finish, on the way back to Porto, we stop at another lookout point to appreciate the eighth wonder of the world - Douro Valley.
