Unique place where you can get to know the whole process of artisanal manufacture of the famous cheese of the Serra.we stopped a bit to take some photos of the center of the city of Covilhã, located on the slope of Serra da Estrela, facing the East, this city, seat of county, is located at about 700 meters of altitudeWe will visit Penhas da Saúde the beautiful mountain village located at about 1500 meters altitude in the heart of the Serra da Estrela. Then visit the Nossa Senhora da Boa Estrela, the patroness of the Pastores. It displays and preserves the objects and heritage of PortugueseThen we continue to Sabugueiro, this village is considered the highest in Continental Portugal, located in the valleys of Serra da Estrela at about 1150 meters altitude.We visit a breeder of Dogs of Serra da Estrela, which is a breed of dogs native to Portugal from the Serra region.After lunch we will visit the Trout Nursery, this place is interesting, because in this place is where the creation of trout is made for repopulation and renewal of fish in our rivers.We finish our Tour visiting the Well of Hell as its name indicates is a well, or a small lagoon in the Serra da Estrela resulting from a waterfall of about 10 meters high, formed by the waters of the Ribeira de LeandresIn the evening, return to Lisbon.
