Welcome to a country of discoverers! Come and see by yourself some of the landmarks Lisbon stands for. There is an amazing history behind the city, reflect by the river where we have the Belem Tower, the Discoveries Monument and the Jerónimos Monastery, all part of our full day plan. Get to see beautiful perspectives of the city in the most stunning sightseeing spots, embrace the Tejo River and explore the old district such as Bairro Alto, Alfama or Graça with our local guides, in the amazing city of the seven hills.
The tour will start at 9am, and includes the pickup and drop off at your hotel. This is possible in the following cities: Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Ericeira and any village not more than 15km away from the cities mentioned before. You will start your tour on the seven hills city, visiting the Belem Tour, the city ´s icon and also the symbol of the Age of Discovery, where you will learn about the Portuguese architectural style called Manueline, before we walk along the river side, You will see the commemorative Monument of the Ages of Discoveries and pass by the 24 July Avenue, along the shore of Tejo river, near Cais do Sodré, until we get to the Commerce Plaza. You will visit the Alfama, the city´s oldest and medieval village-like neighborhood, and taste genuine Portuguese food and wine for lunch. After that you will visit the Saint George Castle, before you'll get to the Lisbon Cathedral also knowned as "Sé" of Lisbon, build by Portugal´s first King. On our way we will stop by the most interesting sightseeing places for you to get the most beautiful perspectives of the city. You will pass through Lisbon downtown area, where you will see the main avenues, knowned to be the City´s cultural and bohemian heart and shopping mecca. Then we'll get back to Belem to visit the Jeronimos Monastery, which is the resting place of the portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama, not without stopping by the most ancient pastry shop of Lisbon and taste the renowned Portuguese egg tart pastry: Pastéis de Belém. From here we'll be on our way back to the starting point, as you will be dropped off at your hotel, in one of Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Ericeira or any other village (not more than 15km away from the cities mentioned before).
