We begin the visit of Castellum de Alcabideque and we continue to the Monographic Museum. After the Museum, we will visit the Ruins of Conímbriga, which with the classification of National Monument, is one of the largest Roman settlements in Portugal.After Conimbriga, we will go to the natural caves of the Sicó Massif, to the Buracas of Casmilo and we pass through the Roman Villa of Rabaçal. Then we head to the Serra da Lousã where Schist is a permanent presence. We will visit 4 Schist Villages.
After picking up in Coimbra, we begin the visit of Castellum de Alcabideque, where you can enjoy the "mother of water", important spring 4 km from Conímbriga, where our Roman ancestors built an aqueduct to supply water to the city of Conímbriga. We continue to the Monographic Museum where the objects exhibited were found during the excavations and are distributed by thirty-one distinct themes that illustrate the vitality of this city. After the Museum, we will visit the Ruins of Conímbriga, which with the classification of National Monument, is one of the largest Roman settlements in Portugal.After Conimbriga, we will go to the natural caves of the Sicó Massif, to the Buracas of Casmilo and we pass through the Roman Villa of Rabaçal being part of the territory of the old civitas, next to the Roman road that connected Olissipo to Bracara Augusta. Then we head to the Serra da Lousã where we started at the Castle of Arouce and the Fluvial Beach Senhora da Piedade inserted in a scenario of incredible natural beauty. Schist is a permanent presence. The first visit of the Shale Village is the Cerdeira, which is a place of artistic creation, through international artistic residences, training workshops and small creative experiences. Next, the Candal is nestled in the Serra da Lousã, on a hill facing south . After the Candal we continue to Talasnal, is the Shanty Village of Serra da Lousã that gave more visibility and charisma. Finally, the Casal Novo develops on the steep slope, oriented to the north with the surrounding grove of the village does not allow to perceive its profile.
