A lovely hostel, lovingly run by two well-travelled women who met in Paris (one of whom was born in the hostel's living room), restored the family house and all the furniture inside, and turned the three floors into a cosy hideaway where guests feel like they're in their grandparents' home, with a twist.
The downstairs floor has two dorm-style rooms while the upstairs has singles and doubles, a living room and a long balcony overlooking the town. The boat-like top floor is the hostel's funkiest part. Rates include breakfast and towels.
Located in the historical centre of Braga, the Collector’s Hostel is a completely restored property that offers a unique feel and decoration. It features free WiFi, and shared facilities like a dining room, a lounge and a kitchen. Featuring a diverse set of collection throughout the property, the former Residencial Inácio Filho, now the Collector’s Hostel, preserved the property’s original charm including each room’s story. Besides the 8 rooms, this hostel also includes various dormitories with access to private and shared bathrooms. Each guest has access to his own private chest or drawer. Guests are welcome to prepare their meals at the shared kitchen. Alternatively there are plenty of traditional restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The 3rd floor terrace offers panoramic views over the picturesque city of Braga and invites guests to enjoy a glass of wine. Biscainhos Museum is 400 metres from Collector's Hostel, while Braga Municipal Stadium is 1.4 km away. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 40 km from the property.
