Zakopane has very interesting history and beautiful wooden architecture, as well as some fun activities around town. The best way to experience many of these are with one of our experienced guides.
Meet your guide at our office BAZATATRY at the main station in Zakopane. From there we will drive through town past Willa Pod Jedlami (considered one of the best example of the Zakopane style) to the Jaszczurówka Chapel on the outskirt of town. The chapel was also designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz's (the founder of the now famous Zakopane style). You will have some time here exploring the chapel's exterior and interior with your guide. The next stop on the tour will be at the Ski Jump area, those interested can go up the same chair lift the skiers use to get a view of the ski jump and Zakopane from the top. From here we will continue onto a small highlander museum where you can get a glimpse of how live was in the olden times for the goral people living in Zakopane. No Zakopane trip would be complete without a stop at a Bacówka (local cheese hut) for a cheese grill and tasting. The last stop on the tour is an adventure on the ski lift to Buterowy Wierch or the funicular to Gubałowka hill.
