Experience an 8-day private tour from Budapest that includes European capital of Culture 2019 - Timisoara, and from 2007 - Sibiu. Learn how three different cultures converge in one country. Enjoy sightseeing in Bucharest, Romania's capital. Visit Dracula's birthplace, also Unesco citadel - Sighisoara. See Borgo Pass, Dracula's Castle, Peles Castle, Bicaz Gorges and the magnificent painted churches from Bucovina.
Day 1: Budapest - Arad - Timisoara  Departure from your hotel or directly from the airport of Budapest. We will visit the city of Arad after we enter in Romania and the city of Timisoara that will become European Capital of Culture in 2019.Overnight in a 4* hotel Day 2: Timisoara - Corvini's Castle - Alba Iulia - Sibiu  In the morning we will visit the most important gothic Castle from Eastern Europe: The Corvini's Castle and later the city where Romania was Born in 1918: Alba Iulia. In the evening we will arrive in Sibiu. the city which was chosen as The European Capital of Culture in 2007 along with the city of Luxembourg. Overnight in the old town in a 4* hotel Day 3: Sibiu - Sighisoara - Bistrita  We have breakfast and depart to Sighisoara, the city where Vlad Tepes (The Impaler) was born. We have lunch in a restaurant, and then go to Bistrita through the beautiful city of Targu Mures which we visit shortly. Overnight in Hotel Coroana de Aur 4* where stayed also Jonathan Harker from the novel of Bram Stoker in Bistrita or similar Day 4: Bistrita - Gura Humorului  We have breakfast and depart to visit three of the most important monasteries from Bucovina: Moldovita, Sucevita and Voronet Monastery (Voronet became famous among art lovers thanks to two features of its painting: blue, made with a formula still unknown, called "blue Voronet" and the magnificent scene depicting "The Last Judgement"). Overnight in Hotel Best Western Bucovina 4* in Gura Humorului or Gerald's 4* in Radauti.  Day 5: Gura Humorului - Agapia - Bicaz Gorges - Miercurea Ciuc  We  continue our journey to Piatra Neamt with a visit to the Monastery Agapia with its 300 nouns. After a visit of the Red Lake we will arrive in the evening at Miercurea Ciuc, a city inhabitated by szeklars mixed with Hungarians. Overnight in Hotel Fenyo 3*.  Day 6: Miercurea Ciuc - Bicaz Gorges - Brasov - Sinaia  Departure Brasov, where you will visit the famous Black Church. After lunch we'll head to Bran where you need to get to experience the charm of the legend. In the evening we will arrive in Sinaia , the Pearl of the Carpathian mountains . Dinner and overnight in the center of the ski resort in Hotel New Montana 4*.  Day 7: Sinaia - Bucharest  In the morning visit the Peles Castle, considered among the most beautiful in Europe. Later, we will departure to Bucharest where we will stop for a visit of the Village Museum. We will enjoy a visit of the Parliament Building, the second largest building of the world after the Pentagon in the United States and the old town of Bucharest.. Overnight in Bucharest in a modern 4* hotel, central located.  Day 8: Bucharest - Airport  Free time for yourself and transfer to the airport.
