Introduction

Kudowa-Zdrój (koo-do-va zdruy) is an appealing spa town 37km west of Kłodzko, favoured by a mild climate and several mineral springs. Renowned since the 18th century, it’s one of the oldest spas in Europe, with well-preserved architecture and a pleasant park off the single main road.

It’s the ideal place for recharging before or after enjoying the more strenuous activities the region has to offer, and is the ideal jumping-off point for the marvellous Góry Stołowe National Park.
