Empty Bottle

Wicker Park, Bucktown & Ukrainian Village

Chicago’s music insiders fawn over the Empty Bottle, the city’s scruffy, go-to club for edgy indie rock, jazz and other beats that's been a west-side institution for almost three decades. Monday’s show is often a freebie by a couple of up-and-coming bands. Cheap beer, a photo booth and good graffiti-reading in the bathrooms add to the dive-bar fun.

One Saturday per month the space hosts local arts and crafts vendors at the Handmade Market.
