The new second branch of a long-standing Kunming favourite is far more accessible, and the long wooden bar is fairly inviting as well. You'd have to try quite hard to sample the whole range of Uncle John's brews (some of which are made on-site), but luckily there's a sampler paddle to help things along.
We think the Imperial Stout may just be the best beer brewed in Kunming. Look for the poorly signed entrance just to the right of the ground-floor supermarket, in the same building as the cinema.
