Big Apple Restaurant

Top choice in Lake District

Our favourite Yeşilada seafood place has perfectly grilled fish, excellent calamari and lush meze. Order your levrek (sea bass) or çupra (gilt-head sea bream), throw in a garlic-heavy rocket salad and some dolmas (vegetables stuffed with rice or meat) and you've got one of the town's best seafood meals. Don't forget the rakı (aniseed brandy) if you're going full local.

There's a range of grilled meat dishes as well if you don't feel like seafood.
