Karakter feels unique in Kazimierz in that there's no theme or shtick, only a menu that promises a modern whole-animal, farm-to-table approach and unusual mains like horse sweetbread schnitzel and bull testicles. The sleek, understated interior puts the focus squarely on the plate. Service is excellent and the lunch menu (35zł) is a low-risk way of sampling the spoils.
