De Plek

San Lorenzo & San Marco

With a Dutch name that translates as 'The Place' (one of the four owners is a cool Amsterdammer), contemporary De Plek is the place in San Lorenzo for serious coffee, healthy shakes, amazing homemade mint-and-basil-laced lemonade, Italian craft beer and creative zero-kilometre cuisine. Its €10 lunch deal is excellent value and weekends rock with a fashionable brunch crowd.

Come dark, De Plek morphs into a happening bar playing funky music. The same team is behind the inspired craft beer and cocktail bar, PanicAle, next door.
