Made in Madeira

Funchal

The name says it all here, with almost everything on sale made on the island – whether it be wicker from Camacha, wine from Funchal or bolo de mel (molasses cake) from Calheta. Doubles up as an informal cafe.

An interesting feature here is the headlight from Madeira's only train which is mounted on the wall.
