Vaxholm

After running a Parisian bakery, Kerstin Lekander decided to bring a little Gallic flair to Vaxholm. Decorated with rustic floorboards and a communal timber table, her island bakery lures the peckish with its freshly baked artisan loaves, baguette sandwiches, quiches, canapés and Alsatian-style pizza. The pastries are unashamedly buttery, with bite-sized versions for those who sin in moderation. Proper espresso to boot.
