Jervois

Hong Kong

If you can bag a room at the lower end of the price range (book direct, online), the elegant Jervois is an excellent deal. Its 49 one- and two-bed suites are each configured with a lounge area partitioned from the bedroom, a kitchenette and huge windows allowing abundant natural light. One-bed suites are around 65 sq m; two-bed suites are double that.

All rooms come with a smartphone for guest use, and luxurious grey-and-white marble bathrooms. There's also a laundry room (though the two-bed pads have their own), and a petite roof terrace with peeking harbour views. Rates are discounted in low season.
