Mini Hotel Central

Top choice in Hong Kong

We've seen glasses of wine in ritzy Central more expensive than this budget hotel. Of course for this price there has to be a trade-off, and in Mini Hotel Central it's thin walls and 10-sq-metre rooms. Look beyond that, though, and it's an excellent deal: clean, stylish and modern, with glass-walled marbled bathrooms. The location could not be better.

The 'Mini' room category has no view; book a 'Smart' room if you want to see the sky. There's also a chic reception lounge to hang out in, filled with sumptuous mismatched furniture, a grand piano, beanbags and a dispensing machine selling the added extras (toothbrushes, shampoo, shower caps etc) that you'd get for free in pricier establishments.
