African Flavour Books

Johannesburg

Part of a burgeoning African literature scene in Jo'burg, African Flavour Books offers an extensive selection of fiction and non-fiction by Africans and the African diaspora. Owners Fortiscue and Nokuthula Helepi have an infectious passion for literature, and the location of their shop in vibey Braamfontein is perfect for book browsing. African Flavour also has a lovely children's book section.

The Helepi's Braamfontein shop is their second location; African Flavour's original branch is in Vanderbijlpark, about an hour south of Jo'burg.
