Samphire

Top choice in Jersey

Formerly Ormer, Michelin-starred Samphire is arguably Jersey's best restaurant. It's stylish without being stuffy, and affordable without sacrificing the quality of its dishes. Peek inside the open kitchen where chef Lee Smith turns mostly local ingredients into knockout dishes with a global twist, such as tempura oysters, korma pigeon with mango chutney and gooey chocolate and pistachio fondant.

Samphire is a great all-rounder: some come for the excellent cocktails, while others catch up with friends over a leisurely brunch of eggs Benedict, French toast and shakshuka.
