Papu

Top choice in The Finnish Lakeland

It would be easy to describe Papu as a hipster haunt, but this laid-back cafe doesn't lend itself to easy categorisation. Yes, its baristas have sleeve tattoos and a preference for pour-over coffee, but the loyal customer base is multi-aged and eclectic. The coffee is made with house-roasted organic beans, and there's also espresso tonic and iced chocolate on offer.

You can also head here between 4pm and 9pm Wednesday to Friday to enjoy organic wine and local artisan beer while listening to good music and browsing the changing art exhibitions that adorn the cafe walls. Love it.
