El Tranco

Andalucía

Highly popular El Tranco is quite avant-garde for this neck of the woods, providing a tasty contemporary take on traditional local ingredients, in generous portions. Dishes include venison in aromatic-herb sauce, trout-and-mushroom risotto, some creative salads, baked apple with crumble and olive-oil ice cream, and options like guacamole or sweet-chilli sauce to go with the charcoal-oven grills.

The lakeside building isn't particularly sympathetic from outside but the picture windows certainly provide great lake views.
