This cleverly designed, Italian-owned flashpacker hostel leaves all other budget digs in the dark. The big, comfortable dorms have between four and eight beds, all made of heavy wood, and each dorm has its own clean and modern bathroom. There are also a handful of private double rooms which are equally impressive.
The buzzing courtyard eatery and drinking space hosts events throughout the week (bingo or trivia nights), and there are loads of activities on offer (sunrise and sunset tours, boat trips), which makes it a great place for socialising and meeting other travellers. There's a rooftop lounge with showers, beds and chairs where you can relax – a nice touch for those arriving or leaving early or late.
