This smart restaurant, part of the fabulous Casa das Penhas Douradas hotel, is a world away from traditional village life. Its streamlined Scandinavian-style decor sets the scene for sophisticated modern cuisine based on seasonal local ingredients such as kid goat, trout, juniper berries and wild mushrooms. The fixed-price lunch menu comprises a starter, main and dessert, while dinner is a five-course feast.
