Namgis Big House

Vancouver Island

This traditional clan house hosts dance performances by Alert Bay's local Namgis community in summer. Ask at the visitor center for performance times and current ticket prices. Head up Park St from the waterfront to find the house, which is next to a soccer field and behind a gigantic (if dilapidated) totem pole.
