Whataburger

Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi's own entry in the burger-chain wars, Whataburger got its start in town in 1950. This location, with its view of the marina, wears much of the 1970s orange motif found in the chain's 700 other outlets. The trademark big-diameter (and wafer-thin) burger is the locally loved fast-food choice and the 2nd floor has decent views.

Don't miss the statue of the chain's founder, Harmon Dobson.
